Re: Tariff Coordination
To our valued partners:
I hope this message finds you well. The sweeping tariffs announced by the current administration on April
2, 2025, have injected uncertainty and risk into many of our supply chains and will have significant impacts
on our industry.
The DaVinci Company prides itself on being a dedicated business partner to you, laser-focused on selling
your products into government markets. As part of our services to you, we are analyzing all available data
and mining our contacts and sources for any information that is likely to affect sales of your products. The
good news is that we are not currently forecasting any decreases in demand for your products in the
near term and are moving full steam ahead with our sales strategies.
We are, however, mindful that, even though you may begin quickly to experience increased costs to
manufacture your products as a result of the effects of the new tariffs in your supply chain, we have
negotiated prices with the government that can only be increased through a contract modification
process. That process was taking weeks before the recent layoffs at the VA and is likely to take even
longer now. Thus, we ask that you let us know as soon as possible whether the new tariffs will materially
affect your supply chain and to what extent, so that we can begin working with your team to develop new
pricing for your government customers and begin the contract modification process. The goal is to
minimize any period when we are unable to fill orders for your products at the current contract price.
Please contact Robert Edwards, our COO, at [email protected] to discuss the process and
the pricing landscape for your products. Thank you for the opportunity to represent your products – we
value the relationship and look forward to navigating through this uncertain time together.
