About Dan

Dan “Spaulding” Shoaf is a former C-130 Evaluator/FCF Pilot and Graduate of the USAF Weapons School. Dan left the service as a Major and has over 3500 hours in command of multiple aircraft including the T-37, T-44 & C-130E/H1-3. Dan has deployed 9 times to Iraq and Afghanistan in various positions in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom. Following his extensive career in the USAF, Dan worked overseas as an Expat in Saudi Arabia teaching the Royal Saudi Air Force how to better utilize their logistics and taught the 4th Flying Wing the intricacies of flying the C-130 Hercules. Finally, Dan has spent the last 4 years in the MRO and Component Test market working various positions in Sales, Marketing & Customer Service culminating in his final position as Director of Defense.

Robert brings years of experience in project management, program implementation, and financial and data-driven analytics to the Davinci team. As the previous CFO of a human services corporation, Robert oversaw all aspects of the organization’s Accounting, Financial Planning, Analysis, Revenue Lifecycle, Human Resources, and Auditing. Most recently as the 3rd employee hired by startup Allegiance Trucks, Robert oversaw the implementation of Allegiance’s financial consolidation software, their HRIS system, government bid proposals, and managing greenfield location acquisitions. During his time at Allegiance, revenue grew from $0 to more than $400MM per year and employees from 3 to more than 600.

About Rick

Rick Rogers, a North Carolina native, holds Finance and Economics degrees from Appalachian State University.

With 30+ years in medical device sales and leadership, he is a trusted expert in Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, and Orthopedics.

He spent 10 years with an EMS distributor in Florida before joining Medtronic Physio-Control and later Medtronic CRDM. His leadership then took him to Smith & Nephew, where he managed a Sports Medicine Orthopedic sales team for six years.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Rick is a proud father to his two children, Logan and Sheridan.
